Our Lovely Volunteers Help Us Do What We Do & We Couldn’t Do It Without Them!
We love to offer opportunities to locals who feel that they have something that they can give back to the community. We are looking for people who have a can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and are looking to help be a great role-model for youth.
What Does It Involve?
Volunteers are on the front line with our youth workers. You will be helping run our various programmes. Some roles include, but are not limited to helping with after-school Drop In, Year 7&8 Night Club, and Holiday Programmes.
Some duties include: Opening The Loft up, interacting with youth (playing Xbox, playing pool, chatting, basketball, drawing, make-up sessions etc.), preparing food for afternoon tea, cleaning, etc.
What Do You Need to Get Started?

- a NZ Police Check (must be completed by us)
- If you are from overseas, a relevant Police Check from your home country within the last year will be needed as well
- Arrange a Meet & Greet with our Youth Development Manager
